Product Description Werewolves of Miller's Hollow is a game that takes place in a small village which is haunted by werewolves. Each player is secretly assigned a role - Werewolf, Villager, or special character such as The Captain, The Hunter, the Witch, the Little Girl, The Seer and so on... There is also a Moderator player who controls the flow of the game. The game alternates between night and day phases. At night, the Werewolves secretly choose a Villager to kill. During the day, the Villager who was killed is revealed and is out of the game. The remaining Villagers (normal and special villagers alike) then deliberate and vote on a player they suspect is a Werewolf, helped (or hindered) by the clues the special characters add to the general deliberation. The chosen player is "lynched", reveals his/her role and is out of the game. Werewolf is a social game that requires no equipment to play, and can accommodate almost any large group of players.

The Ultimate Party Game October 16, 2005 William Brode (Irvine, CA USA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
For any gathering of 8-18 people, this game is a must have. A role-playing game, Werewolves is a game of deception and trust where everyone must decide who is lying and who's telling the truth. Everyone looks as thought they are townspeople but some people (through radomly passed out cards) are secretly werewolves that are trying to kill all the townspeople. Every nighttime the werewolves kill and every daytime the town must decide on someone to kill, hoping that person is a werewolf. With many different variations to the normal townsperson (hunter, fortune teller, cupido, little girl, witch, and theif) which all have unique special abilities, the game never gets old. For those of you who remember Mafia, this game is very similar but more well balanced and polished. I hope you have as much fun with it as I have!
Awesome for company game rooms January 2, 2008 fundy (Buffalo, NY) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Where I work we try to de-stress by playing card & board games when we can. My boss bought Werewolves Of Millers Hollow and we tried it one day. It's now "THE" game to play before a holiday or long weekend. It's the type of game that causes my coworkers to stop dead in their tracks and say "Werewolves????... did someone say Werewolves???" and all pile into the conference room where we play and chow on pizza and Buffalo Wings.
We love this game! The best part is that it created an environment where my coworkers, that wouldn't normally associate with each other, laughed and had fun with each other. I highly recommend playing this at company parties! I like it so much, I'm going to get it for playing at home with my friends and family.
A lot of fun for a group of 8+ people October 11, 2008 Frenchie (Chicago, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We played this on game night. Since the game is not well known, a lot will depend on the ability of the narrator to explain the rules and keep things fun. In our case, we missed what the role of the seer was for most of the game.
Still, it sure got a a group of 15 people to laugh and interact.
Negatives with this game:
If you get eliminated early on, it won't be too much fun for you. A good idea to get other games going once 2-3 people are out. Otherwise, it's a long while to stand around and wait.
The other drawback is that it is not the easiest thing to find 8 people or more to play this. But if you have a group that size, definitely go for it, it's a lot of fun. Only one person in our group of 15 or so did not like it. Not bad
Excellent game for groups December 11, 2007 Doug (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is great for camping or just a fun night with a group of 8 or more. It's really more about human psychology than anything else. You have to be very observant of other people and their reactions in the game to try to see if they are lying (a required part of some characters). It's fairly simple to run the game, and everyone has a great time.
Lots of Fun! October 29, 2008 JS 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We played this game at our Halloween party this year. It was the first time we played it (we have the expansion pack, too) so we did the simplest form to get the hang of it. We had so much fun. The ages who played were 7 and up. The games were pretty quick. The kids didn't want to stop playing. Would definitely recommend it.
