| Customer Reviews: My daughter loved it! November 30, 2006 Rachel's Mom (Maine) 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
My daughter bought this with her own money. She love to create and her favorite art project is pottery. A kiln is out of the question for home, so this was just the right solution. She created many little pots and dishes and painted them for her family and friends. A great craft idea, little mess, lots of imagination.

This is a lot of clay for a little money. So far, we've made two handprint "plates" for family and friends, but there is plenty left over to make figurines, too. It took about 4 days for the handprints to fully dry. I had expected this to be the lightweight "air" clay, but that's not what it is-- it's heavy, and you need to add water to it to make it really moldable, but it works well and dries well, and you can paint it afterwards. Good for creative little ones.
Easy and Fun February 20, 2010 James E. Canning 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 6-year-old asked me to write this review. She loves this clay because it is easy to make things and they dry easily as well. She wants 10 pounds of the clay for her birthday.
good product July 16, 2010 mommy2one my family loves this clay. it is such a breeze to dry, only taking a day or two, depending on the amount used. it is harder to work with than play dough though, requiring a bit of clay skill. my 6 year old, who does not care for having to roll with lots of pressure to shape it, thought it to be too much work. but i think it was a touch of being lazy :- ) .....i would not purchase for a first clay for kids, but rather let them use an easier dough, and then graduate to this after some practice on the softer varieties.
when properly rolled and manipulated (no cracks) it dries quite sturdy. my little one was not pleased at how hers fell apart and mine stayed together when dried, but that was not fault of the product, but lack of experience on my kid's part.
a great buy!
